Our Mission

We at ABDA Technology have a simple three pronged approach to doing business. The three prongs are Integrity, Service, and Quality. Without integrity a business has nothing, and instead of creating new customer relationships, dishonesty creates future noncustomers. We expect all of our employees and contractors to act with integrity. We also inspire an attitude of service with all of our inside relationships. We think our own success is highly dependent on showing our clients again and again that we are here to serve them. The third prong, quality, is the icing on the cake. Not only do we provide highly effective solutions, we also ensure that all clients, large or small, receive a product that is satisfying in all facets of quality. To sum up our mission in one statement, we will serve our clients with honesty and quality.

History

ABDA Technology, formerly ABDA Co, was founded by Abda Johnson Conyers IV officially in 2004, though he was actually conducting business since 2002. Conyers initially designed and developed Macromedia Flash applications and animations. After his talent was recognized by a professor at Baylor University, Dr. James Moshinskie, he was quickly moved into the world of eLearning also known as Web Based Training.

When Conyers was a Sophomore at Baylor University, two recruiters from Black & Decker's headquarters recognized his abilities over students already graduated. Conyers was awarded an internship and worked at the training center at Black & Decker's headquarters in Towson, MD. After his internship, Conyers was offered a job which he turned down due to his father's illness and lack of a college degree.

He continued to do work from Waco, Texas for Black & Decker and several other large clients such as David Weekley Homes, Sonic, World Bank, APL, Young Life and others. Dr. Moshinskie became a strong mentor and business advisor to Conyers. After his father's death in 2004 the workload continued to climb. Conyers hired several contractors who shared the same core values, work ethic, and talent. He decided not to have the name of his business pertain to himself but to his Father who was "the perfect example of a man in every facet." He was a great Father and provided Abda IV with encouragement and wisdom throughout a battle with a disease his Father never complained about. He was a great husband, father, and friend. He loved life and all people.

Now, although much of the focus remains on Web Based Training, ABDA Technology provides a much broader range of products and services. One of the most exciting new areas is the mobile arena. ABDA Technology already has several iPhone projects in the works. They are also researching and developing Android applications.
